Make Time for Makos Toolkit

It's Action Time for Makos! We need EU and U.S. citizens to reach out to public officials to get them to change their positions on the adoption of long-overdue science-based ICCAT catch limits. The European Commissioner for Fisheries and the US Department of Commerce have the power to alter their respective positions, and we need to get them to act fast before it’s too late for the mako shark.

Coral Reef Conservation Specialty

The Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course informs divers and nondivers about the plight of the world’s coral reefs. The course describes how coral reefs function and why they are so important. It also reviews why many reefs are in serious trouble and what individuals can do to prevent further decline. Most divers, snorkelers and environmental enthusiasts have already visited or plan to visit a coral reef.
